Bodyguard - (2011)

Lovely Singh (Salman Khan) is the bodyguard of Sartaj Rana's (Raj Babbar) daughter Divya Rana (Kareena Kapoor). He is very devoted to his duties but irritates her all the time by following her everywhere. Consequently, Divya and her friend (Hazel Keech) call Lovely and start a prank love affair. Lovely starts loving the mystery person but doesn't realizes that it is Divya (who also falls in love with him) who was behind all of this. Sartaj Rana (Raj Babbar) suspects him and Divya to be in love and sends criminals to kill him in case his lover turns out to be Divya. Sensing this, Divya sends her friend to Lovely to tell him her true identity. In a twist, it is revealed that the friend is also in love with Lovely. She falsely accepts that she is her strange lover. They marry and have a child. She dies early and reveals to her son about her fraud and asks him to unite Lovely and Divya.

Ribut, Petir Punca Tragedi Insiden Sebuah Kren Tumbang

DUBAI 12 Sept. - Insiden sebuah kren tumbang yang mengakibatkan 107 orang terbunuh di Masjidilharam semalam dipercayai berpunca akibat petir dan angin kencang, lapor pihak berkuasa Arab Saudi.

Ketua Pengarah Pihak Berkuasa Pertahanan Awam, Jeneral Suleiman al-Amr berkata, hujan lebat, petir dan angin kencang dengan kelajuan luar biasa menyebabkan banyak pokok tumbang, panel jatuh dan sebuah kren tumbang.

Suleiman menerusi satu kenyataan yang disiarkan dalam laman sosial Twitter, berkata, angka kematian mungkin meningkat dan kebanyakan 238 mangsa yang cedera hanya mengalami cedera ringan.

“Sebanyak 15 pasukan mencari dan menyelamat telah dikerah ke lokasi kejadian bagi membantu membawa mangsa yang cedera ke hospital,” kata Suleimen.

Malah, beberapa agensi berita turut melaporkan berlakunya petir di kawasan Masjidilharam sebelum kren tersebut tumbang.

Menurut laporan portal Saudigazette.com, hujan lebat dan banjir kilat yang melanda Mekah malam semalam merupakan antara yang terburuk sejak beberapa dekad yang lalu.

Katanya, hujan yang diiringi dengan angin kuat itu telah melanda seluruh kota suci umat Islam termasuk beberapa kawasan di pinggir bandar.

“Cuaca buruk itu mengakibatkan banyak kenderaan hanyut dibawa arus deras, pokok tumbang di jalan-jalan utama menyebabkan penutupan beberapa jalan raya sehingga menghalang pergerakan kenderaan untuk keluar masuk.

“Pasukan pertahanan awam, peronda keselamatan, polis trafik serta majlis perbandaran telah digerakkan untuk membersihkan kawasan serta memulihkan semula pergerakan lalu lintas di jalan-jalan utama tersebut.

“Malah, pihak majlis perbandaran juga telah menggerakkan semua anggota serta peralatan untuk membersihkan kawasan yang terjejas apabila lebih daripada 800 peralatan digunakan bagi membersihkan kawasan runtuhan,” kata portal tersebut.
